2. The short version

• This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
• There are no ads, and we do not sell data.
• The only personal data you send us through the website is what you enter in the contact form.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on servers of STRATO GmbH, Berlin, Germany, which processes it on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser) in server log files. This serves secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days.

4. Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, message) solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the handling of your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The message is delivered by email to contact@pigglefox.com and is not stored on the web server. It is sent via the mail server of STRATO GmbH, Berlin, Germany, which processes the email on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

To prevent abuse, the server stores your IP address for a short time (usually one hour) in pseudonymised form as a hash, in order to limit the number of messages per sender.

5. Privacy in the Pigglefox app

The app has its own privacy policy, which you will find inside the app. The essentials:

• Only what the app needs for learning is stored: your account and the material you create yourself. Your learning material is visible to your account only.
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics tools, no selling of data.
• The app and your data are hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
• With Pro, scanned pages are sent to Mistral AI SAS (Paris, France) for text recognition and to IONOS SE (Montabaur, Germany) for texts and questions – both process the content only to return the result. Mistral does not use your content to train its AI models. Without Pro, your pages are not sent to anyone.
• Photos of filled-in worksheets are kept only until you confirm the correction and are then deleted.
• You can delete your account in the app at any time. It is blocked immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days, together with everything you created.
• Pigglefox is also aimed at children. Dear parents: if your child uses the app, please read the privacy policy together with them.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. Write to contact@pigglefox.com to do so.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

If the website changes, we will update this policy. The current version on this page applies.
